Top 10 Commission policy
How commission works here
This page explains every way the site can benefit from what you do after reading it, so that you can weigh our words accordingly.
01Affiliate links
Some links to hotel websites may be affiliate or referral links. If you click one and go on to reserve a stay, a referral fee can reach us from the hotel or from the network that tracked the click. None of this alters what you pay.
02How links are marked
Every outbound "Check availability" button carries the rel="sponsored" attribute and launches the property's own website in a fresh browser tab. We do not link to booking platforms or to any online gaming service.
03The publisher's own resort
Our publisher, the Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise, owns Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort. Position one goes to the resort our publisher owns, purely because of that ownership; positions two to ten reflect what our editors think of each stay. A stay booked there benefits the owner directly, in addition to any commission.
04Where commission has no say
No hotel can pay for a position, for kinder wording or for inclusion. The order of positions two to ten reflects our editorial judgement alone, and an entry that pays no commission is treated the same as one that does.
